Monkey Business Tree Care is a family-owned tree care company based in Toronto, Canada.

Our journey began in Hong Kong, where our passion and appreciation for nature first took root. We have always been drawn to trees — their beauty, strength, and the important role they play in our environment.

Driven by our love for nature and a desire to build a better future, we made the move to Canada and began a new chapter in Toronto.

After gaining several years of local experience, we decided to take the next step and start our own company — Monkey Business Tree Care.

With the skills we developed, the knowledge we gained, and our passion for working with nature, we wanted to create a tree care company built on safety, honesty, and quality workmanship. About Monkey Business

Our company name has a special meaning rooted in our Hong Kong heritage.

In Hong Kong, parents often affectionately call their energetic and adventurous children "little monkeys." The nickname reflects someone who is active, agile, curious, and always climbing.

We felt it was the perfect metaphor for a professional tree climber.

Just like a monkey, an experienced arborist moves confidently through the canopy with balance, precision, and control, making even the most challenging climbs look effortless.

That's how Monkey Business Tree Care got its name. It reflects not only our cultural roots but also the skill, agility, and passion we bring to every tree we care for.

Our Experience

Our lead tree professional began his career as a tree worker apprentice after high school, learning the fundamentals of safe tree work from the ground up.

Over the years, he continued developing his skills and became a certified tree climber and arborist, gaining extensive hands-on experience in a wide range of tree care situations.

With 15+ years of practical experience, we have handled everything from routine pruning and maintenance to challenging removals and complex climbing work.

Our experience allows us to understand each tree's unique condition and provide safe, practical solutions tailored to every property.

We believe tree care is more than cutting branches.
